§ 42–3502.15a. Voluntary agreement moratorium.

(a) Notwithstanding the requirements of § 42-3502.15 , tenants and housing providers shall not enter into a voluntary agreement pursuant to § 42-3502.15(a) before January 1, 2025.
(b) Subsection (a) of this section shall not affect any voluntary agreements that have already been approved by the Rent Administrator pursuant to § 42-3502.15(b) prior to October 1, 2021.

Applicability
Section 7206 of D.C. Law 24-45 repealed the applicability provision of section 3 of D.C. Law 23-246 that impacted this section. Therefore the amendment of this section by Law 23-246 has been implemented.
Section 7206 of D.C. Act 24-159 repealed the applicability provision of section 3 of D.C. Law 23-246 that impacted this section. Therefore the amendment of this section by Law 23-246 has been implemented.
Applicability of D.C. Law 23-246 : § 3 of D.C. Law 23-246 provided that the creation of this section by § 2 of D.C. Law 23-246 is subject to the inclusion of the law’s fiscal effect in an approved budget and financial plan. Therefore that amendment has not been implemented.
