Law 1-104, the “Education Licensure Commission Act of 1976,” was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 1-293, which was referred to the Committee on Higher Education/University of the District of Columbia. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on September 15, 1976, and October 12, 1976, respectively. Approved without the signature of the Mayor on November 18, 1976, it was assigned Act No. 1-177 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review.
